Russell Crowe, great Robin Hood and even better in Gladiator, made the point on TV that if were Robin Hood today - he would be fighting media monopolization.
Ok so Rupert probably owns a lot of media companies. He bought Myspace and well killed it, he thinks Google are content stealers - could be right, and now is arguing we should pay for content.
Peter Cashmore, probably needs to spend some time here on the Gold Coast to get the sun tan to look like Russell, is one of the people who started Mashable.
