At the annual Monkey Buffet, over 3,000 kilograms of fruit and vegetables are offered to the monkey population of the Lopburi province in Bangkok. Gurning is an English tradition (celebrated since 1267) where people make distorted facial expressions, known as "gurns". One famous competitor even removed all his teeth to make his gurns better!
