The fear of elevators is pretty common. But injuries are much more common on escalators. Which raises the question: Which do you fear more?

I was once trapped on a broken escalator for hours. It was terrifying. If only there had been someway for us to walk down.

I'm kinda scared of escalators cuz I have issues with trying to step on a moving staircase. I feel that i may fall down the entire flight forever and ever and ever

No lie, when I was a kid, escalators were terrifying. I just knew I was going to eaten by that thing!

I was always afraid of my pants getting stuck between the stairs on the escalator and being rolled up like a nearly empty tube of toothpaste. I was a pretty grim child. I prefer the stairs.
