Eurostar is the fastest train from London to Paris, and TGV is the train service to other European destination. Which is the best services provider between the two?

I just wished that the United States had super fast trains. Oh well not sure if it ever will happen, but I think its kind of ironic that the United States does not have super fast trains when you take into account that it was the railroad that connected the people from different states along with the goods that kept and continues to keep this nation together/running.
