Verizon Wireless is introducing a $2 fee any time a customer pays his or her bill over the phone or makes a one-time credit card payment. They're calling it a "convenience fee" but it sounds pretty inconvenient for customers. The fee doesn't apply to electronic check payments or automatic monthly credit card payments.
Is Verizon being greedy or does this charge seem reasonable?
