For those slamming it, I think you have never seen it. Just saying, it was amazingly well done with a bit of everything in the story line and was nearly impossible not to smile in some parts it was not, ALL romance and shirtless guys like twilight.
And to end it all Httyd doesn't have kristen stewart in it.

And ANYBODY who actually read the Twilight series should agree that Twilight: Eclipse was a horrible movie. I spent the whole time laughing at the badly-written dialog/bad acting, and cringing away from the inappropriate close-ups/heavy breathing.
How to Train Your Dragon was a beautiful masterpiece of computer animation (which is really saying something because it's Dreamworks). PLUS the music wasn't generic like the music in Eclipse; the music in HTTYD was absolutely breathtaking.

HTTYD, however was one of the best animated movies I've ever seen. It really taught you something that you can use in real life and it's not just some stupid fairy tale.
And all you annoying, obsessive Twilight pre-teens, you are the majority of the reason why everybody hates Twilight and don't you dare say How To Train Your Dragon sucks, because you obviously are missing a section of your brain if you think a movie with that message (Friendship, Love, etc.) suck and it's obvious you are teenagers...

also to all the HTTYD fans out there... lets b the ones to act like adults and b civil. yes i am an adult and i LOVED HTTYD. im srry but the Twilight just isnt my cup of tea... and id even say i hate it. but that doesnt mean other ppl cant think its good. heck they can think its the best stuff out there as long as they dont try to force it on me or anyone else as far as im concerned... and for the most (key word most) part the only ppl that are soooo crazy for Twilight that (or just really hated HTTYD) are middle school/freshman girls which is NOT the majority so i think we have this round in the bag...

How to train your dragon, not only has an an amazing and emotional story. With very lovable and likable characters, but the animation is definately top of it's game when it comes to warner brothers.
I haven't seen Twilight yet, and I'm not going to say it is terrible, I read the first book and it was so boring, and the only likable character is Angela, Alice, and her dad Charlie.
How to Train your Dragon is a movie I watch when ever I can't sleep, or am staying up late and I want something in the background. <3 Toothless.

Everyone is assuming HTTYD is for children, because it is animated. Family films do not mean for children, it is for all ages, they make these movies so anyone can enjoy it, Twilight is for fan girls who go to mylifeistwilight.com , the ones who end friendships over which is better, Jacob or Edward.
Ps. Bella loves Edward because he's hottest guy at school, and Edward is only interested in Bella because he can't read her mind, and is curious, which means he has to actually get to know this random person. Also she smells pretty. Match made in heaven.

If you're going to insult the other movie, at least use proper spelling and grammar, because just saying "How to train ur STUPID dragon" (Just an example) just proves you're not picking it because it is actually better, you're only picking it because you're a fan. I'm not just picking HTTYD because it's an amazing film, I'm getting into the animation industry and can really appreciate how much work goes into one second of the film.. As for twilight, maybe the actors are good, maybe the camera work is well done, But the story behind it is very shallow, an "Extremely ordinary" girl, moves to a small town meets two hot boys and swoons. They are both in love with her and will die for her. That is just a tweenage girls wet dream.

As far as HTTYD goes, it was really good. It appealed to all audiences, as i took my niece to it (shes 11) and Im 20 and we both liked it. It had a really good plot-line with characters that actually developed as the story progressed. The animation was top notch, and the situation was believable in that world set.
I pick how to train your dragon as the top movie of these two.

Firstly Twilight... IT'S A LOAD OF SHIT!!!! None of them can act, Edward Cullan looks like a retard and i'm sorry but sparkle?! VAMPIRES DON'T SPARKLE!!! THEY BURN!!! Plus the plot line sucks. The spoof movie Vampires Suck was much better, even the acting was better. The fact that i hate Romance probably doesn't help though.
I vote for How to train your dragon it. was. AWESOME!!! Dragons rock and the storyline was amazing, so was the animation. I shun twilight fans and call them submammels

Turns out it is one of their favorite movies. And it is MY favortie of all time. No one cares for a depressed girl that can't live without her boyfriend. I saw the Twilight movie and this was me, "ZZZZZzzzzzzzz....." I was asleep the whole time. HTTYD was about love, forbiden friendship, and doing things for the ones you love. Not about some werewolf or vampire. What kind of influence is that?
