The King's Speech

After the death of his father King George V and the scandalous abdication of King Edward VIII, Bertie who has suffered from a debilitating speech impediment all his life, is suddenly crowned King George VI of England. With his country on the brink of war and in desperate need of a leader, his wife , Elizabeth, the future Queen Mother, arranges for her husband to see an eccentric speech therapist, Lionel Logue. After a rough start, the two delve into an unorthodox course of treatment and eventually form an unbreakable bond.

I loved the King's Speech, but also stutter so I had an emotional connection to the movie most people probably didn't. Still thought it was done very well.

This movie to use the term is the biggest hyped piece of crap I have ever seen. Story line ridiculous. We are to believe the King waited well into his 50's before seeking help and that his brother would have made fun of him. The lines were stiff and awkward and mostly made little sense. The Churchill character was a buffoon and well I guess you can fool all of the people all of the time
