Should women openly breast feed in public places?

A group of mothers have gone to various Target stores in northern Utah and publicly breast fed following one woman's alleged mistreatment by a Target employee for doing just that recently. This has stirred the seemingly age old question: should women be allowed to breast feed so openly, or should they be more discreet about it (using bottles or covering themselves)?

From what I understand the original woman was using a blanket and was completely covered. So that should count as being discreet in my opinion. It's not like she whipped her boob out and just started feeding her baby!

If a woman has to do it in public, that's how she should do it. However, a lot of women (and a lot of them involved in the "nurse-in") were just being very open and public about it.

They should be discreet, obviously, but it shouldn't be banned. That's just ridiculous. Honestly, if they use their judgment it should be fine.

It should be fine to breast feed in public. A boob is just a boob. Get over it!
