• Step 3: The more you tweet, the more entries you receive and the better your chances for that shiny new Macbook Pro! Up to 24 tweets a day will be counted, and you have to make sure each tweet is unique -- don't blast out the same tweet over and over again, or you'll make Twitter mad. Some suggestions to earn contest entries (don't forget to include #thisorthat with your tweets!):
  • Mention @thisorthat in a lovely tweet - talk about our contest, tell us we smell nice, whatever you want

We know how impatient you little monkeys are, so to tide you over until the contest ends, we're giving away an iPod Touch every day to the Twitter user who creates the most creative and interesting ToT. Create a comparison and share it with your friends via Twitter, and if we love it enough, we'll shell out another iPod Touch. Daily winners will be announced via our This or That Twitter account. Please remember to tweet out your ToT using the #thisorthat hashtag after you create it (and make sure you're following us to know if you've won!)

Rules

1. This contest is offered by This or That and is open to anyone with a Twitter account who is at least 16 years of age. Employees and agents of This or That and/or its affiliated companies and family members of such employees are not eligible to enter.
2. The contest giveaway will begin at 12 pm EST on Monday, October 11th, 2010 and will finish at 11:59 pm EST on Wednesday, October 20th, 2010 at 11:59PM Eastern Time.
3. 11 total prizes will be available, 1 per day for each of the 10 days of the competition and a grand prize upon the contest's conclusion. Daily winners will be chosen at the end of each day and will be announced the following day from the This or That Twitter account. The grand prize winner will be announced via the This or That Twitter account and the This or That website on Monday, October 25th, 2010.
4. The daily prize is an 8GB iPod Touch, and the grand prize is a 13" Macbook Pro. This or That will purchase the prize on your behalf and ship it directly to your address, anywhere Apple is willing to ship and where it doesn't violate local law. You must prove ownership of the winning entry and your shipping address in order to claim your prize. We will ship the prize within 30 days of the contest's closing date.
5. To enter the contest, you must follow This or That's Twitter contest and tweet about the contest using #thisorthat in your message. You can tweet up to 24 times per day to increase your chances of winning, so long as your tweets contain the #thisorthat hashtag and pertain to our site in some way (by mentioning the website and sharing ToTs/blog posts). Entries using automated tweets will be discounted, as will multiple accounts created by the same person. You can earn a chance to win the daily contest by creating a comparison and sharing it with your friends via Twitter.
6. We will choose daily winners by picking our favorite comparison of that day's entries. Daily winners will be announced from the This or That Twitter account. The grand prize winner will be chosen randomly from all the entries after the 10 days have elapsed, and the winner will be announced by the Monday after the contest has been completed (10/25/10).
7. Entrants' personal details will be used by This or That strictly in accordance with This or That's privacy policy.
8. Neither This or That nor its affiliated companies shall have any liability for (i) any technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (ii) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition; (iii) any malfunction of or damage to the prizes; or (iv) any restrictions or delays imposed by any customs authorities or any import or other taxes of any kind imposed by any taxation authority in respect of the prizes.
9. We reserve the right to disqualify any entries that we deem inappropriate for any reason.
