Muhammad Ali is definitely the better boxer here. Not only did Muhammad Ali win more fights, but he was also the most memorable boxer to ever live. What did Mike Tyson do? Oh that's right, he bit off a piece of Evander Holyfield's ear. I don't think that constitutes a good boxer. Looking at it statistically, Muhammad Ali had 61 professional fights. He won 56 of them, 37 by knockout, and only lost 5. That's a really great record. Mike Tyson may have had more wins by knockouts, but Muhammad Ali had more fights, and more wins. Most of us remember Muhammad Ali as the greatest boxer that ever lived. And there is a reason for that.
