You just have to peruse through the majority of our user comments to get a glimpse of the slow and agonizing death of the English language. Misspellings and grammatical abominations are prevalent not only throughout the web, but in popular music ("r" instead of "are," "4" instead of "for," "u" instead of "you," etc). Teen clothing store Wet Seal, however, has elevated the issue even further:

Either they decided to just say "Screw it, teenagers are idiots" and mass-produce these to serve as an instant moron detector for anyone dumb enough to buy and wear it without catching the error, or Wet Seal is now hiring veteran YouTube commenters as their new proofreaders. Either way, Strunk & White are rolling in their graves.

Would you date someone who'd wear this shirt?

I really like the way this one is worded.

Posted By lockheed40,

I studied the English language at school. And then I left school and I saw the words being typed and printed all around me. Then i got sad.

Posted By jogden,

@jogden You and me both, pal.

Posted By Rebecca,

I hope this shirt comes with a box of condoms.

Posted By Cobanerd,

@Cobanerd They'll come in a box that says "Their individually wrapped for you're convenience."

Posted By Rebecca,

*snork* How many people do you suppose have read this and said, "I don't get it...What's wrong with being single?"

Posted By Cobanerd,

They used to teach writing in schools...?then they taught typing in schools... then they taught keyboarding... now they probably just teach texting (where any malformed answer is correct)

Posted By AnubisibunA,

The English language is dying, well as I was taught it anyways. I predict that within the next 10-15 years, we will be looking at a society that cannot understand the English language unless it is abbreviated.

Posted By Mr.Truther,

You don't need grammar to run a gas pump . . . .

Posted By MrHill,

I would prefer they made a shirt that said, If you're a bird, I'm a bird. :P

Posted By MaliaKanakali,
