If you're not familiar with Polamalu, here's what he looks like:

He's somewhere underneath all that hair
He doesn't pull his hair back when he plays; instead, he just yanks his helmet over that Cousin It mane and lets his locks flow freely underneath. That coif is begging to get yanked by an opponent. I'm surprised more games haven't ended with him missing a fistful of hair.
Apparently Head & Shoulders had the same concerns about Polamalu's hair and wanted to protect it, seeing how he's a spokesperson for their product. They insured his mane for $1 million through Lloy'ds of London, but nobody's exactly sure what has to happen to Polamalu's hair in order to collect on the policy. What happens if he gets gum caught in it, or if a teammate buzzes a chunk off his head in his sleep as a prank? Or what if he pulls a Felicity and chops it all off when he follows a boy to college?
In any case, Polamalu's curly Samoan fro is now the most expensive hair in the NFL. What do you think about him getting his hair insured?
